Awareness Programme on Dairy Farming (APDF)

This programme has been developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India.

Objectives: The main objectives of the programme are:

• Imparting knowledge and technical proficiency in Dairy Farm Management Practices, Animal Healthcare, Fodder Production and Clean Milk Production;

• Development of the necessary human resource for dairy farming system on scientific lines; and

• Encouraging entrepreneurship among the youth for self-employment through Dairy Farming.

Eligibility: No formal education, Able to Read and Write Hindi/Telugu

Medium of Instruction: Hindi and Telugu


Programme Details:

There are no specific courses in this non-credit awareness programme. The study material is divided into small modules (14 modules). The study materials code is NEX-001.
