Certificate in Smart City Development And Management (CSCDM)
IGNOU has come forward to meet the requirement and provide opportunity to lakhs of fresh learners and also industry personnel to move ahead in their careers while on the job. This Certificate in Smart City Development and Management (CSCDM) aims to incorporate a blend of new and innovative aspects with academics in the curriculum. This new and innovative programme Certificate in Smart City Development and Management (CSCDM) is a 6 months Certificate programme and the learners would be given maximum 2 years to complete the programme. The study centres will be established at various locations in India depending upon the strength of the participants. Initially the Digital Materials will be provided to the learners.
Programme Objectives:
• To create awareness and deepen knowledge on smart cities
• To expand capacities on various theoretical and practical aspects of smart cities: smart energy, smart transportation, smart education and smart health
• To understand techno-managerial framework of Smart Cities
• To develop capacity in appraisal, monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment of smart cities projects and programs
Eligibility: 10+2 in Science with Mathematics
Medium of Instruction: English
